When we were little, our mothers and grandmothers constantly told us that breakfast is the most important meal of the day that we must not skip. Many psychological studies have shown that the habits and traits we acquire as children are engraved in us for the rest of our lives.
Many of us like to sleep longer, get up at “a minute to 12” and use the remaining time before going to work, school or training to get ready in a hurry, and in the absence of time, skip the main meal of the day – BREAKFAST!
What happens when you skip breakfast?

The benefits of breakfast are numerous. Research and studies have shown that by eating breakfast every day, you can speed up your metabolism and get energy for the whole day if you choose a high-quality ratio of nutritious and healthy foods full of vitamins and carbohydrates.
For you today, we have selected a healthy and creative meal, full of energy, for which you need 15-20 minutes of preparation.
Jaja na oko sa povrćem i topli sendviči
Sastojci:
- 3 jaja,
- 1 paprika babura (mesnata),
- Baby spanać,
- Nar,
- 40g mladog sira,
- Puter,
- Lan,
- Beskvasni integralni hleb,
- Dve narandže,
- Začini: Himalajska so, kurkuma i ruzmarin.
Preparation:
To start, cut 3 to 4 small pieces of unleavened wholemeal bread and spread them with butter. Beat one egg in a bowl and mix it with flax and 40g of cottage cheese. Then spread the mixture on the bread. Put the sandwiches in the oven to bake at 180℃ until golden brown. Depending on the oven, the time period is 10 to 15 minutes.
Until the hot sandwiches are ready, the eggs should be made.
Cut the babura into two thicker rings, which we use as a mold for eggs, and at the same time give the eggs a special aroma. On a heated pan, which has been greased with olive oil, throw two rings of paprika to grill for 1 minute, and then break and insert an egg into each ring. Season the eggs with a pinch of turmeric, rosemary and Himalayan salt.
When serving, put young baby spinach mixed with pomegranate on the plate.
With breakfast, serve squeezed juice as desired. For today, we have selected squeezed orange juice, which is full of vitamin C and a great choice to start the day.
