In my words, exercise is the best thing in the world!
Mainly the goal of training is to reduce body weight and increase muscle mass, but exercise provides much more to our body. Thanks to physical exercises, more oxygen reaches the brain and in this way they influence the brain to clear up faster.
Regular training reduces the risk of heart diseases and prevents certain types of cancer. Physical activity can increase the “good” part of the cholesterol picture, that is, reduce the “harmful” LDL part and thus reduce the risk of heart disease. Exercise slows down the aging process, reduces the likelihood of getting osteoporosis in old age, and thus reduces the likelihood of bone fractures in old age.
Training affects our spirit to the same extent. Studies have shown that exercise is the best calming technic for humans, that is, that training can prevent depression and it can reduce stress. Training also improves the quality of sleep and quality of life. People who exercise regularly have more self-confidence, better memory, have a higher degree of creativity and have better concentration than those who do not exercise.
In Ancient Greece, physical activity was of great importance and was part of the educational system of that time. Back then, people knew that if they trained, their body would be more durable, stronger and healthier, and their mind would be able to handle daily stress. It was then that the word “gym” was used for the first time to describe the psychological and physical education of young people.
